In the middle of the night. When all is quiet. My heart tells me you're the one; that we were meant to be. That I've been in denial about my love for you. But when I wake up, daylight brings uncertainty. So which do i believe? The clear black of night or the bright gleam of day? My head or my heart? Not sure if the lack of peace is from unfinished business or business that I don't want finished. [Life is annoyingly complicated at 2am...]
