Today my cousin's brought over there new chihuahua puppies! Can you say ADORABLE?! They are 16 weeks old. A boy and a girl [who are nameless at the moment]! As soon as I laid eyes on them I wanted to scoop them up and runaway with them. lol. Especially the little boy because he is exactly the puppy I want for myself some day. My dream puppy is a male chihuahua with black/tan/white markings, and my cousins new "baby" is the manifestation of my ideal dog! If only I could have one now; countdown to college graduation [when I can get a puppy]!
I sincerely believe that colleges should allow students to have pets. Yes, animals can be messy but so can PEOPLE! If my school offered the opportunity for pets to be allowed in campus housing I would jump at it- even for a fee! It would be well worth the money for all the benefits of having a pet with you can bring. I know my days would be much brighter if I had a sweet baby waiting for me at the end of the day. If students were more responsible and acted like the adults they claim to be, I think many more colleges would have a pets allowed policy. Although I don't think it would be ideal for dorms, campuses with apartments, like the one I live in, should accommodate students' pets. Until then I guess I'll have to be patient and wait for graduation, or do as my neighbors & hide their dog!
