My energy was drained
until you came into my life.

You were like a new
battery for my heart.

You recharged & energized.
You gave me life.

Awakened what had shutdown.
And gave birth to a new part.

Once upon a time...
I was snow white.

Limp & lame
Drained.

From the struggle
& strife.

You were like a new
battery for my heart.

Your words more than flattery
knew just how to start.

What was still. And Lifeless.
Has been shocked into action.

And now my
energy has been
restored.

I've held your hand.
Been held in your arms.
Kissed.
Cuddled.
Confided in--You in me & Me in you.
But you're not mine.
& I'm not yours.

Too much at stake?
In your eyes yes.
In mine, not so much.
You never know...
Until you try.
Do we sacrifice our potential
for security?
because of uncertainty?

If this desire goes un-quenched
will it eat away at my soul?
Will i explode from
unexplored possibilities?
With so many "what if" 's
will i forever
thirst for more?
Am i destined
to be your friend
forever?
